Louis R Nugent

Born: Alexandria, Louisiana (March 20, 1954)
Current Residence: near San Angelo, Texas
Occupation: LRNArts blog (http://lrnarts-lrnarts.blogspot.com/)

Nugent attended Louisiana State University where he studied political science and law. After completing his formal education, he traveled extensively, eventually living in ten states as well as Europe, Central America, and Asia.

His photography focuses primarily on the semi-arid western Concho Valley of Texas, including the city of San Angelo and the surrounding rugged country at the northern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert. Nugent's work also explores Paris, his home state of Louisiana, the California coastline, the human figure, and daily life in the United States.

Nugent's Fine Art America web page provides a quick and easy access to galleries showcasing the themes listed above. One gallery is devoted to suggestions for unique holiday or "special interest" greeting cards.
